Biography

Dr. Humphrey-Murto continues to be active in Medical Education at a National level in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Co-Chair Education Research and Development Committee and a member of Clinician Educator Area of Focused Competence Working Group. She was a founding member and faculty of the Canadian Association for Medical Education, Inaugural National Assessment Course Development (CAME-PACCC).  At the University of Ottawa she continues as the Acting Director of Core Research Unit within DIME, Director of the simulation Fellowship, Director of Education Research, Department of Medicine and Interim Head Division of Rheumatology. She has several ongoing research projects covering topics such as performance-based assessment, feedback, consensus research methods and emotional intelligence.
