Each year, the Faculty of Medicine hosts a Gairdner Lecture Series as part of a tour that brings together Canada Gairdner Laureates and world class scientists as they speak at universities across Canada.
Gairdner Lecture Series
The Gairdner Foundation recognizes leading medical researchers from any country in the world through the Canada Gairdner International Awards which are recognized as among the most prestigious awards in biomedical science.
Opening remarks:
Dr. Julie St-Pierre, Interim Vice-President, Research and Innovation, Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, and professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology.
