The Welcome to the Profession ceremony marks the formal entry of MD, PhD, MPH and PharmD learners into their respective professions. It is a moment to reflect on the values of compassion, professionalism, and service that define our shared journey.

This year, we’re proud to introduce a renewed tradition: a ceremony with a new name that continues to impart the values we’ve held for generations. As we move away from “White Coat Ceremony,” our goal is to better reflect the diversity of health professions, and the many paths learners are pursuing.
