The Office of Public Policy Research and Outreach is holding the second session of its Brown Bags Lunch Series on research and public policy.
Event Description
Explore how to advise government representatives and to position yourself for such opportunities. Professor Roland Paris, director of uOttawa’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, will share insights from his experience advising government officials and working in government.
Professor Céline Castets-Renard, University Research Chair on Accountable Artificial Intelligence in a Global Context and professor at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, will discuss advising government in parliamentary committees as well as working in international organizations.
One presentation will be in French and the other in English, and discussion can be in both languages.
