Help make community engagement and global citizenship vital parts of the educational experience.

The University’s 29th President and Vice-Chancellor, Allan Rock, wants to inspire our graduates to use their education and experiences to make the world a better place. Your support of the Allan Rock Scholars Fund goes towards scholarships for our emerging global citizens: students who devote their time and energy to volunteering or other forms of community service.

A university education is more than what students learn in the classroom – when the student experience goes beyond lecture halls and laboratories and into the community, they witness firsthand their ability to turn their ideals into action and bring about positive social change.

By rewarding community and global engagement, you are helping to instill in our graduates an ethic of service to others and a keen awareness of their obligation to give back. And by promoting volunteerism and social responsibility, enabling meaningful learning opportunities, and nurturing a desire to serve others, we are motivating the next generation of leaders.
