If you work for the Physical Resources Service or in a laboratory, we can meet with you to inform you of any risks associated with your position. We can offer you preventive screening, such as X-rays or spirometry. We then analyze the results and write a report for you.
If you feel that the air quality in your workplace is inadequate or that there is a serious air quality problem, speak to us. We can then suggest steps to take, support you as you attempt to solve the problem and help you with your recovery, if need be.
Note: If you must wear a respirator to perform tasks related to your work, it’s important for you to contact us so you undergo baseline testing, followed by periodic testing over two consecutive years.
