Support and academic staff
We help maintain a respectful and harmonious workplace by offering advice to employees on various questions, including employment standards, collective agreements, complaints, grievances, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, layoffs, dismissals and other potential work-related situations.
We also help draft regulations and policies concerning working conditions at the University of Ottawa.
Finally, we negotiate renewal of collective agreements.

Labour relations operates under the labour regulation and conventional regulation pursuant to individual contracts, employment contracts and collective agreements.
