The Power of Women's Voices in Public Life with the Right Honourable Kim Campbell

Join us for a unique event on the topic of the power of women in public life, featuring the Rt. Hon Kim Campbell, the first woman to serve as prime minister of Canada.

This meeting will be an opportunity to highlight the role of women in public spaces, learn more about their contributions, and commemorate the first significant international declaration on the equality of women, namely the “Persons Case”.

This discussion is hosted by the Women’s History Project, in partnership with the University of Ottawa, the Famous 5 Foundation and Famous 5 Ottawa. A reception will follow. This event will take place in English.
