Event information:

The IPAC-NCR student conference event gathers students and professionals for an exchange on emerging issues in public administration. The event is being held in collaboration with the uOttawa Center on Governance. The event focusses on presentations by the upcoming generation of scholars in the field. Participants will also be treated to a panel discussion on the governance and regulatory initiatives for the use of AI in the public sector and into the production of decision-oriented metadata built from public sector performance evaluations.

Dr. Éric Champagne and Mahyar Sherafat Naseri will discuss ongoing research into the production of decision-oriented metadata built from public sector performance evaluations. 

  • Panel Discussion: Artificial Intelligence & Policymaking

Join us for a spirited discussion between experts on the implications of AI for responsible governance.

  • Student Presentations: Emerging Issues in Public Administration

Students will use comparative, procedural, modelled, or theoretical approaches to examine contemporary transformations affecting policymaking and public sector management.
