Go Big or Go Home? The Future of Canadian Energy
Dec 2, 2019 — All day
On Monday, December 2 2019, Positive Energy hosted a debate at the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, to examine and address polarization in Canadian politics, in particular its effects on energy decision-making.
Can Canada better meet its future energy, environmental, social and economic needs with large projects and system-wide approaches, or local projects and community approaches? Hosted by Positive Energy, this debate featured diverse energy experts with extensive experience in all parts of Canada. The event aimed to stimulate more respectful, sober and substantive debate and dialogue and to shed light on what stands in the way of achieving a common vision for Canada’s energy future in an age of climate change.
