Congratulations to Leilani Farha, who received a 2020 Leadership Award from the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA)! The Leadership Award “recognizes an individual who has shown leadership in improving housing in Canada through program innovation, policy change, outreach and/or advocacy efforts”.
HRREC community member, Leilani is the former UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing and
currently the Global Director of The SHIFT – The global movement to secure the human right to housing.
The virtual award ceremony was held on September 8, 2020.
