As part of its commitment to digital transformation, the Faculty of Social Sciences has implemented a new platform to support the management of academic fraud and misconduct cases. This initiative reflects the faculty’s broader efforts to modernize administrative processes and improve service delivery through targeted technology solutions.

The platform, now in production, provides a centralized and secure environment for handling sensitive documentation, decisions, and communications. It replaces fragmented workflows and informal practices by offering a standardized system accessible to professors, administrators, and students. The tool is designed to reduce reliance on personal email and local file storage, while supporting consistent and transparent case management.

Developed using an agile methodology, the project moved quickly from design to deployment. A dedicated development resource was engaged to support the build, and key users were involved in testing to ensure the tool met operational needs. The next phase will focus on gathering user feedback to guide future enhancements and feature development.

Led by the IT team within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the project demonstrates a scalable model that could be adapted for use in other faculties or administrative units across the University. Its design and implementation offer a strong foundation for broader institutional adoption, supporting consistent practices and improved risk management.

This initiative contributes to the university’s broader digital campus objectives by improving continuity, reducing risk, and supporting sustainable, scalable service delivery.
