As of June 23, the IT Service Desk has been offering in-person support at its new location, Morisset Hall, Room 06 (MRT 06). It’s a floor down from the main level of the Morisset Library.

Gone are the days of searching for the right place to get hands-on help for technology-related issues. This new setup brings together general IT and classroom tech support in an accessible space where students, professors and staff get personalized help quickly and seamlessly.

Advantages for you:

  • Centralized IT support: All in one place — no more guessing where to go.
  • Fast issue triage: With the Educational Technology and IT teams in one location, technology-related issues can be assigned and resolved more efficiently.
  • Experienced experts: Our frontline team is equipped to handle a wider range of requests, such as account access, podium troubleshooting and more.
  • Walk-in support: No appointment needed — drop in when it’s most convenient for you.

This move is about more than just a new location — it marks an important milestone in our efforts to enhance IT services and create a more user-centric experience for everyone. Whether you’re preparing a lecture, launching a new research tool, troubleshooting your laptop or anything else, the new Service Desk is here to help you.
