Approximately 20% of adults between 18 and 25 years of age identify within the 2SLGBTQ+ umbrella, and research indicates that they often face poorer health outcomes, increased isolation, and greater risks of mental health issues. In light of these challenges and the rise in hate crimes and discrimination, we have created a safe and nurturing space for uOttawa 2SLGBTQ+ students.
