The Faculty of Medicine is pleased to share that Dr. Simon Garceau, a scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI), has been awarded a New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) – Exploration Grant totaling $246,389 over two years for the project “Brain Network-based Precision Medicine to Predict Dissatisfaction Following Total Knee Arthroplasty.”
Administered by Canada’s three federal research agencies, the NFRF Exploration stream supports transformative, high-risk high-reward research that challenges conventional thinking and embraces novel interdisciplinary approaches.
Dr. Garceau (Surgery/OHRI), Co-Principal Investigator, is part of a collaborative team that includes:
