Join Guy-Vincent Jourdan, the uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range Co-Director, and Paul Berthier, Senior Advisor, Cybersecurity (RHEA Group) who will be providing a presentation and live demonstration of the Cyber Range software that will be accessible to the uOttawa community and partners.

Cybersecurity affects everyone, and the need for certified skilled workers continues to grow. The uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range located in the STEM Complex will provide students and professionals with a space to learn, develop, and address these gaps in their experiences thanks to lessons learned through simulations with real data that can be applied in real life.

Professor and uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range Co-Director

Guy-Vincent Jourdan has over 15 years’ experience in leading research and industry collaborations. He has co-authored a hundred or so scientific publications and 15 patents. For the past decade, his main research area has been cybersecurity, specifically, cybercrime detection and prevention.

Senior Advisor, Cybersecurity (RHEA Group)

Paul Berthier is a cybersecurity advisor for RHEA Group Canada, specializing in the security of critical infrastructures and responsible for Cyber Range training across Canada. He regularly leads workshops and provides in-depth training in cyber security and resilience.
