- Shared instruments identified by a yellow sign with the letter “T” require mandatory training. To request a training, complete the CETS Request Form. This rule applies to the following instruments:
- Centrifuges and rotors
- qPCR (CFX)
- Covaris Sonicator
- Lyophilizer
- SpeedVac
- ddPCR
- Injection module of the Bio-Tek plate reader
- Hypoxia Chamber
- Fraction Collector
- Shared instruments identified by a red sign with the letter “B” must be booked online through Infinity
- Read all signs and instructions on or near the instruments
- Sign the logbooks (yellow duo-tang) every time you use an instrument
- Use only the Research Drive or email to export data from shared instruments (no USB sticks allowed)
