This research intensive department, comprised of over 100 faculty members, is a young and vibrant environment committed to basic and translational biomedical research. It offers two graduate programs, participate in the Translational and Molecular Medicine undergraduate programs and provide service courses.
Title of the position: Replacement Professor.
Duties: The functions of the replacement professor include, in varying proportions:
- Teaching on and off campus;
- Course preparation activities, including e-learning curriculum; and
- Academic and administrative service activities.
Terms: Contract of 2 years.

Wage: Assistant Professor salary scale commensurate according to APUO salary scale. Note: salary for higher ranks is commensurate according to rank and experience.

Skills requirements:
- Education: PhD or MD/PhD in biochemistry, microbiology or related field.
- Work experience: A demonstrated track record of teaching and course development is preferred. A commitment to teaching, a strong track record in and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, excellent communication skills in either English or French. English-French bilingualism is an asset.
