About the Speaker

Florian Martin-Bariteau, LL.D., is an Assistant Professor of Law and Technology at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section and Director of the University of Ottawa's Center for Law, Technology and Society. His research focuses on technology law and intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on blockchain, AI, trademarks, cybersecurity, secrets and whistleblowers.

This program is accredited by a recognized provider for 1.5 Hour of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for the Barreau du Québec and the Chambre des notaires du Québec (through the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section).

This program qualifies for 1.5 Substantive Hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the Law Society of Ontario (through the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section).

Attendees can donate online to the Centre whatever they think is fair.
