Event description

Within the broader context of discussions around group singing and wellbeing, this presentation will examine the creation and evolution of a choir designed to support individuals living with breathing challenges and suggest how similar models could become part of social prescribing in Canada. It will consider a range of factors that impact on the design and delivery of such programmes, including consideration of venue, cost, attendance, choice of repertoire and exercises, online, hybrid and in-person options, and collaboration between healthcare practitioners and musicians.
