This presentation will address the use of song (composition, performance) in and as research. More specifically, Dr. Levesque will discuss some of her recent work in arts-based, autoethnography that explores the connection between song, reflective practice and everyday peace.

Dr. Lauren Levesque

Lauren Michelle Levesque is an assistant professor and Director of the Providence School of Transformative Leadership and Spirituality, Saint Paul University, Ottawa, Canada. She publishes on the role of the arts in constructive social change. Lauren works with the creative practices of song, poetry, cell-phone photography, and embroidery. She is also co-founder of the Research Group on Imagination, Storytelling and Spaces (https://imaginestories.space).
