Microsoft SharePoint Online allows organizations to create websites, store and share information, collaborate with others, and optimize business processes. SharePoint is part of the Microsoft 365 suite of products.


By leveraging the University’s investment in Microsoft 365, the DocuShare to SharePoint project will migrate all electronic documents of business value to the new Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) in SharePoint Online allowing :

  • Clear and consistent information management practices and seamless collaboration.
  • Increased transparency, resulting in less duplication of work, increased access to information and quicker decisions.
  • Simpler access management enabling employees to move between programs with less downtime.
  • Improved tools for discovery, information compliance, retention and disposition, resulting in reduced risk.
