The CCERBAL organizes multiple academic and outreach activities in order to promote research excellence and exchanges among stakeholders.

Overview

OLBI Research Forums

The Research forums are an invited speaker series with nationally and internationally recognized guests and local researchers. They are open to the public and often livestreamed.

CCERBAL Conferences

The Centre organizes a biennial international conference on current research themes related to bilingualism and pluri/multilingualism. The conference is a unique opportunity for researchers, teachers, students and other participants to meet and to share their knowledge and expertise. The three-day conference usually takes place in the end of April or the beginning of May and attracts about 200 participants from around the world. It offers keynote addresses, round tables, symposiums, workshops, individual oral presentations, and poster sessions coupled with social and networking activities.

CCERBAL Symposiums

The symposiums are half or full-day events undertaken by CCERBAL’s individual members, research groups, or research chairs and engage with various themes related to the Centre’s expertise with a wide range of participants.

Research Workshops

Research workshops provide an occasion for stakeholders to update their knowledge on new research and data analysis methods, cutting-edge teaching practices, assessment tools and techniques, and other topics relevant to the CCERBAL. Workshops are given by guest experts or by CCERBAL members and are open to the public by invitation.
