A few reasons we suggest trying one of the University of Ottawa's on-campus fitness classes.
  1. Location, location, location! Get your workout in before, after or in between lectures without having to worry about how you’re going to get there! All Gee-Gees Recreation fitness classes are located in either Montpetit Hall or the Minto Sports complex.
  2. Low prices. Our fitness classes come to about 13$/class per students, 14$/class for staff and 15$/class per external members. This is considerably lower than most similar classes in Ottawa.
  3. Quality. The classes are inexpensive, but you won’t catch us sacrificing quality. All instructors and trainers are certified fitness professionals and are committed to providing quality fitness classes week after week.
  4. Routine. Our fitness classes are available in 10-12 weekly sessions. This means that once you register, you will be committed to a fitness class per week for 2.5-3 months. This duration will allow you to build a consistent routine that will be easy to maintain even once the course is finished.
  5. Variety. You don’t have to like yoga to like fitness classes! While we do highly recommend our yoga classes, we also have running, weightlifting, kickboxing, indoor cycling and bootcamp classes to choose from.
