3D Design Bootcamp

Every Saturday from January 17th to February 14th, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Explore the world of 3D design and engineering! In this bootcamp, students will learn how digital models are created — from sketching ideas by hand to building detailed 3D structures. Through hands-on projects, participants will design objects for gaming, engineering, and art, discovering how creativity and technology come together to shape the digital world. By the end, they’ll have the skills to bring their ideas to life in 3D and a solid foundation to keep exploring the endless possibilities of design.

Physics Bootcamp

Every Saturday from February 28th  to March 28th, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Discover the fascinating world of physics! In this immersive bootcamp, students will explore core concepts such as motion, energy, forces, and waves through hands-on experiments and real-world challenges. Participants will uncover the laws that shape our universe while strengthening their problem-solving and analytical skills. By the end, they’ll have a solid foundation in physics and a deeper understanding of how it influences the world around us.

Technovation Girls Ottawa

The Technovation Girls Ottawa club runs from January 31 to May 9, 2026, and is open to students in grades 8 to 12. The club meets weekly on Wednesdays and three Saturdays for a kick-off event, coding sessions, and a pitch presentation in Montreal.

Girls and feminine-aligned non-binary youth work with mentors to build a mobile app, gathering in person at the University of Ottawa for hands-on workshops and independent project time to develop their app ideas and business plans. Participation is free, and all girls (cis and trans) as well as non-binary youth comfortable in female-centred spaces are welcome.

Join the club to design, code, and launch an app alongside mentors and peers who want to make an impact.
