Welcome to Continuing Medical Education by Francophone Affairs at the Faculty of Medicine.

Francophone Affairs' Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, is the only academic university organization serving the Francophone minority in Canada that offers a wide range of training throughout the academic year for the continuing professional development of physicians and other healthcare professionals, whether in practice or at any stage of training.

OUR MISSION: To contribute to the training and support of physicians and all healthcare professionals in the development of their knowledge and skills in French, with the goal of better serving and meeting the health needs of Francophone patients across the country.

OUR VISION: We are building a community of Francophone healthcare professionals who learn together and continue to develop their cultural competence in Francophonie within a linguistic minority context. We aim to be a respected source of high-caliber training, recognized for the rigor of its evidence-based content, to support our participants in improving their medical knowledge as well as their competencies in all CanMEDS roles.
