For decades, the international community has worked to prevent conflict, protect human rights, and build lasting peace. As today's global challenges become increasingly complex, understanding the causes of conflict and the pathways to peace has never been more important.

In this program, you will explore the political, social, economic, and historical factors that shape conflicts around the world and examine their impact on individuals, communities, and states. You will develop the critical thinking, research, and analytical skills needed to assess complex global issues through the lenses of human rights, peacebuilding, international security, and conflict resolution. By engaging with diverse perspectives and real-world case studies, you will gain the knowledge and tools to better understand and help address some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Collaboration is at the heart of the program. Through hands-on, experiential learning opportunities, you will work closely with classmates, faculty, and community partners to tackle real-world issues, strengthen your teamwork and leadership skills, and apply your learning in meaningful ways. These experiences will prepare you to make a positive impact in a wide range of professional and community settings.
