Analysis service rates
Fees are assigned based on the billing address listed on the submission form and the pricing listed on our website at the time of submission.
*Please note: we do not accept samples from private individuals. We only accept samples from academic institutions, government and non-profit agencies, or commercial institutions.
Canadian academic, non-profit and government users
Users from Canadian academic institutions, registered non-profit organizations, Indigenous groups, and government agencies will be invoiced following the delivery of results.
Commercial and international users
Users from private companies, whether Canadian or international, must remit payment in full prior to release of results. An invoice will be issued upon receipt of the submission.
Internal users
Users affiliated with the University of Ottawa or with the Ottawa-Carleton Geoscience Centre (OCGC) (including faculty, adjuncts, post-docs, graduate, and undergraduate students) are entitled to internal rates. In order to qualify for internal rates, the submitter must remit payment from a fund administered by the university. Please contact us for internal rates.
Pro Bono Scientific Support for High-Impact Projects - Effective May 20, 2025
The André E. Lalonde National Facility in AMS promotes the advancement of science and society through targeted pro bono collaborations. We may provide limited, in-kind analytical services for selected projects that meet the following criteria:
Note: We welcome inquiries from academic researchers, NGOs, and community-led initiatives. Pro bono support is provided at the lab’s discretion and is not guaranteed.
To Apply: Submit a one-page proposal outlining project goals, requested support, and planned recognition for the lab.
