Prerequisite courses and required averages for students from Nunavut

You must have a Nunavut Secondary School Diploma with at least five courses at the 30-39 level. All program-specific requirements must be at the 30 level unless otherwise specified.

Your admission average, which is also used to determine your eligibility for admission scholarships, is calculated based on your five best interim or final Grade 12 courses at the 30-39 level, including the prerequisites for your chosen program.

Please note that we always consider the highest level of mathematics you’ve attempted when calculating your admission average.

Please note that the requirements listed are minimum requirements only and are subject to change. Meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Admission is not guaranteed. The minimum average required depends on the popularity of the program. Applicants who do not have the minimum average required for some of our most competitive programs may be considered for a program in related fields of study.
