• Canada’s largest tech park — at our Kanata North campus

Our cutting-edge research and teaching facilities attract researchers and students from around the world. Among our state-of-the-art equipment and labs is the uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range, a hub for cyberattack training simulations and research.

We also boast an accelerator mass spectrometry laboratory — the only one of its kind in Canada — to find solutions to environmental issues. Our new Faculty of Health Sciences building is equipped to train health professionals in hospital-like settings. And we’ll soon begin construction on our Advanced Medical Research Centre, where researchers will partner with medical startups to accelerate the development and commercialization of new health tools and therapies.
