Mandate

This committee is a subcommittee of the Faculty Council. The committee’s mandate is to review and adjudicate on professionalism concerns involving a medical student, or a resident, Areas of Focused Competence AFC trainee and clinical fellow (the latter group hereafter known as postgraduate trainees), per the Faculty of Medicine Policy on Professionalism (henceforth referred to as “Professionalism Policy”). The Undergraduate and Postgraduate Professionalism Subcommittee (henceforth referred to as the “Committee”) reports to the Vice-Dean of UGME (medical students) or the Vice-Dean of PGME (postgraduate trainees) on the cases and the decisions.
