Researchers, universities, funding agencies and governments are seeking ways to measure the impact of research they conduct and fund.

Overview

Research impact has been defined as the demonstrable contribution that research makes to society and the economy.

Here you will find information on some of the different ways researchers and their research outputs are measured, the tools used to do this, and the benefits and drawbacks of some of these.
