The Chair’s research focuses on cultural heritage policies in Francophone regions around the world. It aims to shed new light on the links between cultural heritage policy and the decolonization of cultural heritage in the Francophonie, the latter being a significant issue in the relationships between France and Belgium and many Organisation internationale de la Francophonie member states. The Chair is also more broadly interested in governance, political dynamics and changes in practices and ideas in the field of arts, culture and heritage policies in the Francophone space.
