Are you a first or second-year undergraduate science student interested in cellular and molecular mechanisms of human health? If so, the TMM program may be a right fit for you!

The Translational and Molecular Medicine programs offered at the Faculty of Medicine are research-focused programs for 3rd and 4th-year students that will provide to you and your peers unprecedented exposure to laboratory research, stimulating class environment and an integrated graduate program opportunity.

To learn more about the Translational & Molecular Medicine programs, you are invited to attend the Open House event.

  • Dr. Lisa D’Ambrosio receives the University of Ottawa Award for Excellence in Teaching

TMM professor Dr. Lisa D’Ambrosio has received the University of Ottawa Award for Excellence in Teaching for the academic year 2021–2022. The University established the annual Excellence in Education Prizes to recognize educators of exceptional quality, driven by their passion to advance and share knowledge. Bravo Lisa!

  • TMM student awarded prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarship

TMM student Yasmine Elmi (BSc’22) was awarded the prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarship for graduate study at McGill University. The scholarship, which covers tuition and provides a $2000/month living allowance, will allow Yasmine to enter the Master of Science program in Family Medicine at McGill. Yasmine is the first McCall MacBain Scholar from the University of Ottawa. Congratulations Yasmine!
