The integrated program incorporates the undergraduate honours project and the summer research into graduate level thesis work. Students in the B.Sc./M.Sc. program are expected to complete their studies in 5 years (2 years in undergrad, 2 years in TMM, one-year at the graduate level) and those in the B.Sc./Ph.D. program can complete their program in 8 years (2 years in undergrad, 2 years in TMM, 4 years at the graduate level).

Students are eligible to submit a request to change their program during the winter term of their first year in the TMM program. 

• First day to submit a request to change your program: January 7, 2024
• Last day to submit a request to change your program: March 1, 2024
   

• Students must meet all the admission requirements for the undergraduate TMM program.
• Students must have a minimum admission average of 8.0 (CGPA).
• Students must show that their research is sufficient to demonstrate high-level research and critical thinking skills with the goal of pursuing a career in biomedical research.
• Students must identify an eligible supervisor to supervise them during the spring/summer term of their undergraduate studies and throughout their graduate studies. 

Important note: The final decision to accept a change of program is at the discretion of the admission committee. Therefore, it's possible that students who meet the above criteria may not be allowed to change their program.

1. Submit your request with the documents listed in the section above by email to [email protected] before the set deadline.
2. Request that your supervisor submit their letter of support by email to [email protected]. 
3. Receive an acknowledgement email from the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office that your request has been received and will be submitted for evaluation. Should additional documentation be required, you will be informed by email. 
4. When a final decision has been made, you will receive an email confirming if the request was approved or refused. 
5. (If applicable) You will receive confirmation that your file has been updated and will be able to see it on your transcript.
