Troubleshooting

If you experience a problem with the EvaluAction platform, here are some troubleshooting solutions that may help you:

  1. If you get an error message when you click on one of the links provided in Virtual Campus or in the course evaluation email, make sure to log out of any uOttawa application, close your browser and try again.
  2. Use the direct link to the EvaluAction platform: https://uottawa.ca/tces.
  3. Use a computer rather than a mobile device.
  4. Try a different browser.

If you are using Safari, check if cookies and JavaScript are enabled on your Mac.

  • To enable cookies, open a Safari window. Click the Safari menu, choose 'Preferences', click 'Privacy', and make sure that the box 'Block all cookies' is unchecked.

  • To enable JavaScript in Safari, open a Safari window. Click the Safari menu, choose 'Preferences', click 'Security'. Make sure that the box 'Enable JavaScript' is checked.

  1. Clear the browser’s cache.
  2. If none of the above work, write to evaluaction@uOttawa.ca.
