How do I get started?
Walk in to the Career Corner at UCU 216 to book an appointment. You can also use our chat weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to talk to a student career mentor who’ll guide you through our range of personalized services . If you aren’t on campus, you can book an appointment (in person or virtual) via the career development website.

What can I learn?
Career Corner mentors can direct you to resources to help you gain experience and prepare for your career, such as:
- On-the-spot reviews of your resumé or academic CV
- LinkedIn profile reviews
- Job search strategy sessions
- CO-OP program information
- Volunteering and community engagement opportunities
- Internships and part-time or summer jobs

What about hands-on training?
Of course! You can book an appointment to practise for an interview (including med school, law school and grad school interviews) or get an employment assessment. You can even have a private session to review your resumé or LinkedIn profile with a career counsellor or specialist.
