The forum will also allow participants to discover university life and foster skills essential to success at the University. University mentors will offer training in time management, stress management and procrastination. You will also learn how to use the University of Ottawa Library.
Leadership training
During the forum, future achievers will further develop their leadership and interpersonal skills. They will also have the opportunity to acquire essential skills that will help them in their pursuit of post-secondary studies.
Leadership course
The Leadership course will enable youth from Caribbean, Inuit, Métis or First Nations communities across Canada to acquire the knowledge and skills to be leaders and agents of change in their communities and beyond. Through conferences, workshops, meetings and activities, future achievers will gain new experiences and develop their skills through practice.
