Dec 1 - Rockin' with the Docs

Sept 22 - Centre for Neural Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence Research Spotlight

June 20 - Epilepsy, Neurophysiology and Neural Modelling in Ottawa

During this event multiple experts from areas of basic science, clinical research and science domains will give brief presentations on their work to highlight areas of collaboration and growth in the field of epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology in Ottawa.

This will lay the ground work for a larger fall time event at the uOttawa Brain and Mind Research (uOBMRI) Institute with the ultimate goal of building collaboration for epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology through the uOBMRI injury and regeneration pillar.

May 10 - Stem Cell Research Spotlight

Date: May 10, 2023

Time: 9:00am-5:00pm 

Location: University of Ottawa, Roger Guindon Hall

Co-Chairs: Pierre Mattar and Armen Saghatelyan

This full-day Symposium will be focused on neural stem cells, neurodevelopment and regeneration. Including a broad focus, with topics spanning from neurogenesis and gliogenesis, neurodevelopment, modeling neurodevelopmental disorders with iPSCs and organoids, and neuroregeneration. The event will feature short talks by graduate students and postdocs, poster session, as well as a plenary talk by distinguished keynote speaker Dr. Michel Cayouette.
