What participants valued most

Participants particularly valued opportunities to:

• use English in real-life situations
• learn and communicate with students from different countries
• explore Ottawa through sociocultural outings
• experience life on a Canadian university campus

These themes appeared repeatedly in the participants’ open-ended responses.

Step 3: Once we receive your payment, we will send you a letter of acceptance.

Step 4: If you live outside the Ottawa-Gatineau area, reserve your transportation to Ottawa and reserve your accommodation! 

We will follow up with you throughout this process to help when necessary!

1. The tuition is refundable, minus a CA$ 200 administrative fee. The tuition fee must be paid in full by the first day of class. The fees cover the tuition, health insurance and the weekly sociocutural activities.

Fees are subject to change without notice. Tuition must be paid in full for you to receive a letter of admission and to take the program placement test. Once you have completed the placement test, we will determine which level to place you in the uOttawa English Experience Program.
