Planning your Summer

summer beach items

Setting a plan for the summer is never an easy task for faculty – there are so many projects to work on and holidays to take. Summer writing has many challenges, but there are a few key planning elements that can lead to a very successful, productive and rewarding summer. During this session, you will start building your plan which you will later be able to finalise with concrete tools. And here is our promise: your plan will include holidays to recharge your batteries!

  • "I've submitted three articles as a result of the writing days so far this year"
  • "This is a supportive and encouraging environment. There is a subtle peer pressure to keep active. Time for re-energizing activities and looking after yourself (balance) is encouraged... Blockages are often overcome by a quick conversation with someone else."
  • “It was enormously helpful to see the scholars work with concentration and dedication. I would not have accomplished as much at home alone."
