Biography
Ms. Bloom is a clinical social worker, educator and researcher who brings to her new role creative leadership skills, her knowledge of the humanities in health field, her connection to the arts and health community, her teaching experience and her commitment to student engagement. Ms. Bloom is also an adjunct research professor in the Department of Social Work at Carleton University, and she recently received an appointment as adjunct professor with the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine. In 2014, Ms. Bloom received the Bessie Touzel award for excellence in social work practice from the Ontario Association of Social Workers, Eastern Branch.
