In this section, you will find all the information you need regarding the PGME mandatory enrollment requirements, which you will need to complete to start or continue your training.

You will receive a communication to your uOttawa email from the PGME Office informing you of the steps to follow. 

IMPORTANT: It is imperative to continuously monitor your uOttawa email throughout your training in order to receive important communication from the PGME office, the Office of Clinical Placement Risk Management, as well as the Paymaster for residents. If you are not able to do so, ensure that your uOttawa emails are forwarded to an email address you check regularly (see instructions on automatic forwarding).

The DEADLINE to meet the requirements is 30 days prior to start date unless indicated otherwise (See table below )

IMPORTANT: Mandatory requirements apply during a leave of absence. Exceptions are: Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), Immunization, Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS), VSS Self-Declaration and e-Learning modules.
