In this section, you will find all the information you need regarding the PGME mandatory enrolment requirements, which must be completed to start or continue your training beyond July 1.

You will receive a communication in your uOttawa email account from the PGME Office informing you of the steps to follow. 

IMPORTANT: It is imperative to continuously monitor your uOttawa email throughout your training in order to receive important communication from the PGME Office, the Clinical Placement Risk Management Office, as well as the Paymaster for residents with Canadian status.

The DEADLINE to meet the requirements is 30 days prior to start date unless indicated otherwise (see table below).

IMPORTANT: Mandatory requirements still apply during a leave of absence. 

Exceptions are: Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership, immunizations, Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check, and e-learning modules.
