What did people in your group do to help you integrate into the group and help get you started on the activities assigned to you?
My colleagues challenge my knowledge and teach me new analysis techniques to become a better computer analysis technician.
What are your main responsibilities in your position in Information Technology?
- Diagnose and resolve problems associated with software and operating systems.
- Configure, troubleshoot and offer support for computer workstations, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
- Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software.
- Provide technical support, in person and over the phone, for the University’s IT systems to students and employees.
- Basic software support (Windows 10, 11 and Mac)
What do you like about your job in this work term?
All the professional encounters my work has to offer. Being able to help those who have difficulty with their technological equipment.
What skillsets have you developed since working in Information Technology?
Communication with our customers and teamwork.

We have the best team; capable of being super-efficient, but also capable of having fun.

I prefer to work in person. It’s always fun to work with the whole team at the office.
