Locating resources
All resources hosted in the Resource Centre are listed in the University of Ottawa Library catalogue.
To obtain assistance searching the catalogue or using available resources (printed documents, learning materials, databases and electronic books), please contact the Resource Centre by phone at 613-562-5861 or by email at [email protected]. Your request will be forwarded to the Librarian or the Learning Resources Advisor.
Borrowing documents
The University of Ottawa Library offers a home delivery service for books, videos and photocopies of articles from print journals found in the Library Catalogue. These services encompass the Centre's resources with some restrictions. For more details, please visit the Services for Distance Students page on the uOttawa Library website.
Access to electronic books and databases
All University of Ottawa students, faculty and staff may access restricted electronic resources from an off-campus computer. A University of Ottawa username and password are required.
- User name: The information that precedes the @ in your uOttawa.ca email address (e.g. if your email address is [email protected], your user name would be jdoe123).
- Password: To set or change your password, use the Password Management Tool in uoZone (students). You can also call the Service Desk at 613-562-5800 ext. 6555.
