uOttawa Craft Convention 2023

Event details

The uOttawa nanoBrew team and the Faculty of Engineering are proud to present the first ever uOttawa Craft Convention! A one-day event focused on bringing together industry partners and students to discuss sustainability in brewing and responsible consumption, as well as yeast and how its properties affect beer.

Students will network directly with brewers, distillers and other members of the craft community, while the latter will meet the future members of that community. The day of sessions will be followed by a mixer with drinks available for purchase from the brewers present.

This event is presented by the nanoBrew team with support from the faculty. The nanoBrew team is a group of like-minded chemical engineering students with two goals in mind: to make great beer and to develop a fully functional Craft Lab on campus that can be used for experiential learning throughout their undergraduate degree. Learn more about the nanoBrew team and how to help out with their cause.
