The user fees can be paid at any point. This fees are charged once per year to principal investigators and provide access to all our services to students or researchers working under the supervision of the principal investigator. If you are concerned about the user fees or have any questions as to the pricing as an external researcher (e.g., FSS Faculty member outside of Psychology, external researcher outside of uOttawa), please email our team.   

The Community Pool can be accessed at any point during, which means you can sign-up at any time for research studies. Additionally, both researchers and participants can contact the INSPIRE lab team to create their Community Pool account at any time during the year.  

Students who wish to participate in the ISPR student pool must be registered in a participating course. You must complete your ISPR credits before the end of each semester. Our office hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.   

Important Dates and Deadlines - Winter 2024  

• The ISPR opens: January 15^th, 2024 at 9:00 AM
• To request research alternatives: April 2^nd, 2024 at 4:00 PM
• To submit research alternatives: April 3^rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM
• To participate in research studies: April 10^th, 2024 at 4:00 PM. The participation deadline can also be found on the ISPR student pool portal.

• The ISPR opens: May 8^th, 2024 at 9:00 AM

Please ensure that you activate and set up your account properly (e.g., the right course), otherwise you will not receive your points. Any other studies posted outside of the ISPR website are not eligible for ISPR points (e.g., an email from a researcher or professor advertising a study outside of ISPR does not count towards your credits).
