What is the Wellness Continuum ?
During all stages of your life, and from one day to the next, it is normal to have varying needs for wellness support. The Wellness Continuum is a tool to help identify your current status and understand that it can vary within time. Consult, explore and select services and resources available to you at uOttawa and within the community
This is not a diagnostic tool. You can navigate the menu to learn more and find services and resources that are right for you.

In crisis
You may feel panicked, depressed or excessively anxious. You are always exhausted, cannot concentrate and can’t perform your daily tasks.

Struggling
You may feel anxious, angry, sad and tired. You avoid your daily tasks and your thoughts are usually negative.

Managing
You may feel irritable, impatient, and lower on energy. You tend to get distracted and you socialize less.

Thriving
You may feel calm, confident, and energetic. You are able to bounce back when things don’t go your way and you perform well in your daily tasks.
