The Mental Health Services team is here to support you. We provide peer-to-peer services, support groups, short-term personal psychotherapy and other mental health services to help with the cognitive, emotional, and social skills needed for success in school, work and everyday life.

Peer-to-peer services

Peer-to-peer support services are available throughout the academic year, including during exam periods.

Wellness Lounge
The Wellness Lounge is a welcoming, judgment-free space where students can relax, socialize, play games, participate in events, or study. Peer wellness helpers are available on weekdays to listen, offer support, and help connect students with health and wellness resources.

Peer Support
Peer Support Assistants foster a safe and supportive space to talk through concerns related to relationships, stress, mental health, culture, identity, and more. They are not mental health professionals and cannot provide advice (medical or otherwise), professional psychotherapy, or health care.

Assistive Technology Mentoring Centre
During one-on-one appointments, student mentors from the Assistive Technology Mentoring Centre will discuss learning strategies and tools you can use to help you improve your tech skills and academic performance.
