Summer Orientation

Take part in the free uOrientation activities between July 6 and August 18, 2022, and start your university life on the right foot!

Prepare for your first year of university and get answers to your questions while meeting your peers as well as other dedicated people who will guide, teach, and support you during your time at uOttawa!

Engineering Welcome Day

In September, we host our annual Welcome Day for students to get to know our faculty and each other. Come meet our student clubs and associations and receive more information about your program before courses begin!

Student associations 101 Week activities

Your student associations, the Engineering Student Society and the Computer Science Student Association, are planning a series of fun social activities to welcome you to the Faculty!

Engineering Peer Connection Program

The Engineering Peer Connection Program is a volunteer-based program at the Faculty of Engineering that pairs students based on their interests.

The program is an excellent opportunity to meet students, make new friends in your faculty and program who share your interests.

Contest

Get ready for the new academic year! The Faculty of Engineering is hosting a contest to help two people prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Each winner will receive:

  • One $25 gift card to the University of Ottawa Campus Store

  • One uOttawa Engineering hoodie

This giveaway starts on September 5 and ends on September 11. Winners will be chosen randomly and notified through their Instagram DMs on Monday, September 12. Winners will have two weeks to reply and claim their prize. You must be a Faculty of Engineering student to enter.
