Undergraduate Engineering Welcome Day

In September, we host our annual Welcome Day for first-year students to get to know our faculty and each other. Come meet our student clubs and associations and receive more information about your program before courses begin! This event is mandatory for new students.

Engineering Peer Connection Program

The Engineering Peer Connection Program is a volunteer-based program that matches students based on their interests. It’s a great opportunity to meet students and make new friends at the Faculty.

These optional preparatory workshops are for students who’ll be taking the following courses during first year.

The Faculty of Engineering is hosting a contest to help two people get ready for the upcoming academic year. 

Each winner will receive:

  • One uOttawa Engineering hoodie
  • One $25 gift card to the University of Ottawa Campus Store

How to enter:

  • Post a photo of your first week on campus on your Instagram feed
  • Add the hashtag #uOttawaEngineering or #uOttawaGenie in the caption of your post

This giveaway starts on September 5 and ends on September 10. Winners will be chosen randomly and notified through their Instagram DMs on Monday, September 11. Winners will have two weeks to reply and claim their prize. You must be a Faculty of Engineering student to enter. Good luck!
